Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones β $199.99
Chuck PeΓ±a PEZ sez:Β The first thing you notice about the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones is that they are neither over-ear (enclosed) headphones nor in-ear (ear buds) headphones. Rather, they are open ear headphones that use bone conduction technology. Without geeking out and getting into the science/technical details, bone conduction is an alternate auditory pathway that conducts sound to the inner ear through the bones of the skull (instead of airborne soundwaves via the ear canal), allowing the hearer to perceive audio content.
In addition to the headphones, you get: (1) silicone strap, (2) magnetic charging cable, (3) earplugs, and (4) sound quality enhancers
So if youβre someone who likes to ride with headphones (NOTE: Iβm neither recommending nor endorsing riding while listening to music), the open ear design means your ear canal isnβt blocked so you can better hear ambient noise, e.g., cars. For me, the practical application is being able to more easily answer/make a phone call during a ride (NOTE: I donβt make or take phone calls while riding β I stop and find a safe place to talk).
USB magnetic charging cord (green arrow) with magnetic port (green dotted oval) on headphones
Setting up and using the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones is relatively easy-peasy:
- Charge them up using the proprietary magnetic charging cord
- Turn them on (long press the power button until you hear βwelcomeβ and βBluetooth modeβ)
- The headset should automatically go into pairing and the blue light should blink
- Pair them with your phone (when you hear βconnected,β youβre paired)
- Youβre set to make phone calls and listen to music on your phone
The different buttons are pretty easy to find by feel when wearing the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones: (1) Power button, (2) volume up/next song button, (3) volume down/previous song button, (4) mode indicator LED
To answer a call is easy: Click the power button once. Do the same to hang up. If you want to use your phoneβs voice assistant, e.g., Siri on an iPhone, double click the power button to wake up the voice assistant and double click again to exit.
NOTE: Since I donβt listen to music while riding (and Iβm not recommending or endorsing listening to music while riding), Iβm not going to go over all the ins and outs of using the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones as music headphones. If youβre going to use the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones for music, e.g., working out in the gym, itβs worth noting that it has 32GB of onboard storage of music files if you want to be un-tethered from your phone.
Bone conduction ear pieces
Wearing the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones is a little bit different than other headphones. Hook them over your ears (with βstrapβ at the back) β BTW, the headphones are a soft, smooth rubbery material, so comfortable to the touch. But instead if the ear pieces covering your ears, they sit just forward of the opening to the ear canal so that theyβre in contact with the bone structure (hence bone conduction).
NOTE: The ear pieces can fold back 35 degrees for what Nank calls βnoise cancelling mode.β IMHO this is a bit of an over-statement as the ear canal isnβt plugged or completely covered to block outside noise. But for a given volume level, the sound is marginally louder.
Listening to some of my favorite music on my iPhone, I found the sound quality of the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro headphones to be be surprisingly good (I didnβt really know what to expect with bone conduction). Not audiophile quality, but what I would call musicphile quality (just donβt expect pounding bass). Since they are open ear, for any given volume level the sound isnβt as loud as regular headphones/ear buds (at max volume I could actually feel the bone conduction vibrations).
For phone calls, the sound was a little βmuffledβ and the person on the other end said my voice sounded muffled. But we could hear each other well enough to have a conversation (I had to have the sound up to pretty much max volume, but thatβs just me and my aging ears).
My MET Manta MIPS helmet could comfortably accommodate wearing the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones
So if youβre looking for a set of sports headphones that you could wear while riding and donβt isolate you from the outside world, the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro Headphones are βdroids worth taking a look at (or is that: worth having a listen to?)
Topeak Tubi 18 Minitool and Tubeless Tool
Stephen Cheung PEZ Sez: Everyone needs a minitool with them for those inevitable little or big fixes that can spring a surprise during a ride. And now with the tubeless revolution, another requirement in our saddlebags has become a tubeless plug tool in case the damage to our tires is too big for sealant to fix. So rather than two separate tools rattling and taking up space, the Topeak Tubi 18 has conveniently integrated an essential slate of tools along with a tubeless plug into one compact minitool.
What I like about the Tubi 18 is that it has pretty much every tool that you may realistically need for a roadside repair, short of a chain tool. Included are:
- 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 mm hex wrenches.
- T10/T25 Torx wrenches
- #2 Phillips screwdriver
- A conical air plug that you can take off the tool and insert into the puncture while you get the tubeless plug set up. Taking this air plug out reveals the 6 mm hex wrench, and theyβre held together magnetically so the air plug doesnβt disappear at the first opportunity.
- 5 mm tubeless plug insertion tool, along with a built in cupboard that holds 3 tube plugs along with a tool stop to prevent the insertion tool from going too deep into your tire and hitting the rim.
- A small serrated knife to trim the tubeless plug once inserted.
The little details are also nicely thought through. Both the tubeless insertion tool and the knife are lockable once fully opened for added security and safety.
The round washer-like object in the cupboard is the tool stop to use with the plug insertion tool (bottom right). The black conical tool is the air stop to plug your puncture with while getting the tubeless tool set up.
Overall, since both a minitool and a tubeless tool are now essential, why not have everything combined in one nicely-designed unit?
Argonaut | Supernaut
The Intersection of Production and Perfection
GR3
Argonaut is proud to introduce the production Supernaut as a new flagship model. Supernaut defies convention, providing riders with a new way to experience the essence of Argonaut. Born from a decade of pioneering revolutionary ride quality and innovative composite manufacturing, the Supernaut distills years of innovation into the perfect bicycle. This is the bike Argonaut staff members ride, day in and day out.
RM3
The Supernaut was launched in 2023 as a limited edition, now a permanent part of the Argonaut line, with 30 dedicated production slots available in 2025. This year, Supernaut will be produced exclusively in stunning raw carbon with Caribbean Pearl accents, available as a complete build only. Providing 13-size options ββensures that once a riderβs biomechanical window is calculated (your bodyβs optimal position for efficient power generation on the bicycle), Argonaut can match a Supernaut precisely to the riderβs physical needs.
GR3
Each Supernaut is handmade in Bend, Oregon, from start to finish utilizing an advanced composite engineering process known as high-pressure silicone molding (HPSM). This innovative technique improves the efficiency and quality of the molding process. Starting with size-specific layup patterns, the HPSM method produces dramatically higher-quality parts. Like everything from Argonaut, not only are these HPSMs made in-house, but the tooling required is also fabricated in the Bend, OR, facility.
RM3
The Supernaut family includes the GR3 gravel bike and RM3 road bike. With Supernaut, Argonaut streamlines the essential elements of their engineering, informed by years of continuous improvement at every step of the process. Over the last decade, the Argonaut team has designed hundreds of potential carbon layups. Supernaut is the expression of this process, providing proven layup patterns based on rider weight, power, and intended use. Supernaut is the supreme road and gravel cycling experience, engineered without compromise.
GR3
With Supernaut, Argonaut began by looking at the bike as a system, starting with a concept of enhanced ride quality. A detailed analysis of different carbon layups allows Argonaut to find the exact point on the displacement curve where the force of the riderβs outputs matches the natural flex of the frame. The resulting sweet spot is where the bike encourages the rider to push harder β dive deeper in the corners, climb more smoothly, descend without limits β and elevate every piece of the riderβs capabilities.
βThis is the bike that we want to ride. Every. Single. Day. A performance-centered build focused on ride quality, speed, experience, and enjoyment; Supernaut is nothing short of epic.β β Ben Farver, Founder Argonaut Cycles.
RM3
Argonaut has removed all barriers to the perfect ride, streamlining the experience with pre-determined build kits and paint. Available exclusively with SRAM RED or Shimano Dura-Ace and Argonaut D33/R43 Wheelsets. Supernaut is the pinnacle of modern composite engineering applied to the bicycle. Built by hand in the Pacific Northwest, utilizing cutting-edge carbon construction to provide unparalleled ride quality. Every Argonaut begins with a conversation, with the Argonaut team working directly with the rider throughout the process and beyond, providing mechanical support and ongoing consultations as needed.

Argonaut | D33 Gravel Wheels
Go Faster off the Beaten Path
Introducing the D33 Gravel Wheelset by Argonaut Cycles, hand-built in Bend, Oregon. Top-notch performance for adventurous rides available separately or as part of Argonautβs GR3 Gravel Bike. The D33 wheelset is meticulously designed for gravel and adventure riding, boasting the same high standards as all Argonautβs products.
Optimized Durability for Superior Stability
The D33 Gravel Wheels feature a 33mm rim depth and an impressive 28mm internal rim width, designed to accommodate larger tires. This design enhances traction and compliance on gravel roads or trails. The wider rims also ensure the tire sidewall aligns perfectly with the rimβs edge, reducing the risk of tire roll during cornering or navigating obstacles, thus improving stability and maintaining directional control. Engineered for use with wider tires at a low volume, pairing the hookless D33 wheel with a tire between 45-50mm removes trail chatter, providing a stiff package where it matters.
Rugged Performance Without Compromise
Weighing in at only 375g per rim and 1269g for the complete wheelset, the D33 Gravel Wheels are lighter than many high-end road wheelsets. This makes them a robust, no-compromise solution for demanding gravel rides, races, and adventures. To complete the package, the D33 gravel wheels incorporate Carbon-Ti hubs and straight-pull DT Aerolite spokes, resulting in a seamless, reliable, and easily serviceable wheel system that delivers a predictable, stiff, yet comfortable riding experience.

Colnago Steelnovo: The Art of Steel bikes reinvented
A fusion of tradition and technology: handcrafted steel meets 3D precision in a frame that celebrates 70 years of Colnagoβs Italian excellence.
Colnago celebrates 70 years of history with Steelnovo, a bicycle that brings steel back into the spotlight. Launched as a 70 pieces limited-edition it features premium, custom components crafted by Colnago Italian partners exclusively for this release. In a market dominated by carbon, Steelnovo is a return to the essence: meticulously crafted steel, hidden welds and 3D-printed components.
This edition is for those seeking not just a bicycle but a piece of Colnagoβs history to take on the road, where past and future converge with every pedal stroke.
Colnago is proud to unveil its latest masterpiece, Steelnovo, a modern steel bike that perfectly combines the mastery achieved in seventy years of history by the manufacturer from Cambiago, and the finest modern standards.
Entirely made in Italy, Steelnovo is launched as a limited edition of 70 pieces, equipped with Columbus tubing and Campagnolo components β Colnagoβs historic partners β and boasts an elegant, refined and modern design that guarantees high levels of performance, offering cyclists the unmistakable riding pleasure typical of the brand.
Making this bike involves several highly-specialised suppliers, all of which come from Italy, at a cost: it needs an entire working day to produce a single bike.
The Steelnovo is available in only 70 pieces, with groupset and components by Campagnolo specifically dedicated to Colnago with a unique personalization.
Proudly Italian
The Steelnovo is an ode to Italian craftsmanship excellence. Made to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the company founded in Cambiago in 1954, itβs made even more special by the dedicated Campagnolo groupset.
It is equipped with a modern Campagnolo Super Record Wireless with each component customized with Italian flags, reminders of the Italian origin of both the groupset and frameset suppliers.
The network of highly-specialized firms behind this bicycle is entirely Italian.
All the partners have contributed to the project in a significant way. A particular mention goes to Columbus, who actively participated in the tube design, and to Additiva, who enhanced its process to meet Colnagoβs high requirements.
Design inspiration: Tradition meets Modernity
It may seem like an oxymoron, but the Steelnovo is a bike designed to enhance the great tradition of Colnago, with an approach oriented towards modernity.
Tradition thrives primarily in two key aspects:
Frame Material: Steel has been the cornerstone of bicycle history and Colnagoβs legacy until the late β90s. The tubes and lugs are meticulously welded and brazed, reflecting the rich Italian craftsmanship tradition in frame building. Some of the most iconic steel Colnago models are the Super (1968), the Mexico (1972), the Master (1982) and the Arabesque (1983).
Historical Partnerships:
- Columbus: This partnership goes beyond just supplying tubes; Columbus has played a vital role in developing custom tube shapes for Colnago, tailored to meet specific design requirements. They even provide proprietary molds for shaping and bending the tubes.
- Campagnolo: The latest innovations, including the Campagnolo Super Record Wireless groupset and the Bora Ultra WTO wheelset, have been specially customized to highlight the strong collaboration between these two esteemed Italian companies.
Several models from the archives represent the successful cooperation from these three brands⦠Think of a Master, with its distinctive 5-point-star tube shape developed with Columbus, equipped with a Campagnolo Super Record pantographed groupset. With this bicycle, there is a real celebration of the history of cycling manufacturers.
Modernity, instead, is prominently showcased in other key aspects:
Design: The design features essential tube shapes that seamlessly integrate with one another, thanks to fully 3D-printed lugs and lugs. This includes top and bottom head tube lugs, seat tube-top tube and seat stay lugs, rear dropouts, and custom components. There is a strong emphasis on customization and the integration of all components and details, including fully integrated cable routing, custom nylon headset components, and a seatpost-clamp system that is integrated with the seat stays.
Technology: The creation of complex, surface-modeled lugs that are internally hollow to minimize weight is made possible by advanced 3D printing technology. Colnago has partnered with Additiva, an Italian leader in technology, expertise, and quality, which has established a strong presence in top motorsport competitions. This collaboration resulted in a complete suite of 3D-printed lugs. After several iterations and refinements, the outcome is a robust connection that perfectly aligns tube profiles while achieving a competitive weight for an oversized, fully integrated steel frame.
Performance: As always, performance remains at the heart of Colnago bikes. The Steelnovo model is compatible with all modern standards and components, ensuring that riders experience exceptional handling, superb comfort, and a strong sense of safety:
-
1. Tire Clearance: With the ability to accommodate tires up to 35mm, riders can enjoy maximum grip in all conditions and added comfort.
2. Racing Carbon Fork: The lightweight racing carbon fork, combined with oversized headset bearings, provides both stiffness and quick handling. The design also ensures steering precision and a sense of safety, thanks to the 1 1/8β³ top and 1 ΒΌβ bottom bearings, which feature SLT technology to prevent wear.
3. Oversized Bottom Bracket: The T47-68 bottom bracket increases stiffness in the bottom bracket area, enhancing responsiveness during acceleration.
4. UDH Rear Dropout Standard: This standard ensures compatibility with all modern electronic groupsets, making the bike adaptable to current technologies.
Geometry
Steelnovo features modern geometry to accommodate wide tires and to provide comfort in everyday or endurance rides, without preventing a more aggressive position for more speed-oriented riders.
It is available in seven sizes: 420, 455, 485, 510, 530, 550, 570.
Highly personalized details
The bike is embellished with several personalizations, as anticipated.

The logo of Colnago on the front is 3D printed, in relief.
Top of the steering tube: a special cap
Custom steering tube cap and personalized screw from Carbon-Ti.

The front and the rear thru-axle are personalized with the Ace of Club logo, as well as the handlebar caps.

Zwift and Truemed Help Unlock Pre-Tax HSA/FSA Saving for At-Home Fitness
Using tax-free HSA/FSA dollars, qualified customers can save 30% on average in just a few simple steps
Zwift, the global online fitness platform for cyclists, and Truemed, the payment solution for merchants at the forefront of treating and preventing chronic disease, today announced a partnership to make investments in well-being through cycling easier than ever before. For eligible customers, Zwift Ride smart bikes and hardware sold via Zwift.com can now be purchased through tax-advantaged Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Paying from tax-deferred accounts will save qualified consumers, on average, 30% off the current retail hardware prices.
Tax-deferred HSAs and FSAs are key parts of individual healthcare plansβoften offered through employersβthat allow for coverage of healthcare-related expenses at discounted rates. They play a critical role in incentivizing preventative care that can treat or prevent chronic conditions like obesity and diabetes. Truemedβs commitment to empowering consumers to prioritize their health by streamlining processes to invest in and save on health products and services and Zwiftβs unique community-driven fitness platform makes investments in well-being easier to manage than ever before.
βHSA/FSA funds substantially expand access to root cause interventions. The biggest barrier to using our HSA and FSA savings is not consumersβ commitment to leading healthier lives; itβs clarifying the HSA/FSA process and making it more intuitive,β says Calley Means, co-founder of Truemed.
Truemedβs seamless integration with Zwiftβs online store means qualified purchases are as easy as any other online transaction. Everything needed to qualify a purchase for HSA/FSA funds can be completed via the usual checkout process in three simple steps:
-
1. At checkout, consumers select the βPay with HSA/FSA fundsβ payment method to be redirected to the Truemed website.
2. This is followed by a brief health survey. Once completed, enter an HSA/FSA card or credit/debit card to finalize the checkout process.
3. Submitted responses will be reviewed by a licensed medical provider, and if eligibility is confirmed, a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) will be issued. (If a credit or debit card is used as payment, reimbursement from the HSA/FSA can be requested).
- Qualified customers can start saving on indoor cycling equipment now at Zwift.com.
